Just got my rifle back .... Oh sweet Jesus this thing is a work of ART.

And yes that is a full 8 round clip of 35 Whelen loaded.

Yes I have a 9.1mm battle rifle / carbine ... happy days.

Ha! It got there quick I see :)
By the way, your oprod spring is plug and play. It is NOT a cut down spring. You simply replace by buying a Wolff Highpower tanker spring. They are sold straight from Wolff, from Midway, or from me.
That looks like Hornaday HP 200 grain? That's exactly what I test fired it with.

Good to know in the parts. And yes it's the 200gr round.
Oh and about 25 people are drooling over this one in the 35 Whelen group in FB. :)

One thing I noticed when comparing it to my MiniG was how much lighter this 35W is compared to it. Does boring a Garand barrel from 308 to 358 remove that much weight?

Yes, it removes a crap load of weight.
