I've heard mixed reviews on them in M14's. I've always purchased Checkmate M14 mags and been very happy.

I only use USGI or Checkmate M14 mags

Another vote for checkmate. And they're nice folks.

I would pass, the real T57 mags were great but those were from years ago. The current T57 mags are most likely from Korea.

Go with the proven Checkmate's, you can't go wrong. The only "better" 7.62x51 mag is a BM59 mag.

We did pick up some new in the wrap Korean mags at Louisville. They fit well and were cheap. Didn't try them yet though

We really got screwed at Louisville this year, but that's a big story.

I run the T-57s from Keepshooting in my SOCOM, they are as good as the old T-57s, and weigh the same as my US GI mags. And for the price point they are the best deal on the market. They are Teflon coated which I'm sure makes them more reliable in feeding, but the look on the outside is a little glossy for my liking. I'd put these up against any GI, Chinese, or original T-57s......they are good to go.
