View Full Version : Sweating my butt off in NY!

I'm in Ontario for a wedding,and I'm struggling not to pass out from the humidity!I am about 1/2 mile from lake Ontario,and don't have a vehicle to even go see it.Perhaps thursday,but tomorrow My father in law arrives,and he is renting a car to take us to Niagra falls,so that will be fun.

Welcome to the east coast. Be glad you aren't farther south... well, at least you wouldn't be surrounded by all those damn yankees.

Don't worry Ryan, I lived in Pennsylvania all my life and you never get accustomed to the high humidity. As for "damn yankees".......being surrounded by "those damn yankees" is ok, it's being surrounded by "those liberal damn yankees" that's bad.

I wish that we were a little closer so we could get together. But as it stands, we are about as far away as you can be and still be in NYS!!!!!

I know my friend,I'm only 117 miles away from another friend,but not having my own transportation makes it just as far as when I'm home.

I just called the Ontario police told them there was an illegal ink peddler there. You will be staying there for a while.

I hope you are having a good time in New York Ryan. I was there in May for my sons graduation and people were passing out from the heat. Im in Fl and it was hot for me.

I just got home last night,and hell,it was so hot and humid there I could barely breath!!Glad to be back in Montana!!

I remember a bunch of years ago that a lot of the falls collapsed-over a million years of course. Anyway, all the debris at the bottom made the falls not so spectacular. They diverted the Niagara River and removed a zillion tons of rock. Amazing feat.
