Anybody have any experience with the FN 49?

Came across one of these FN 49's the other day and thought it was a pretty decent setup, but i don't know anything about them. Anybody here ever have one or shoot one?

1st sorry for dragging up a old post
l have a fn49 8mm they are a great rifle and fairly rugged. 8mm is common but they were made in 7mm 308 and 30 06
its design is the for runner of the FAL it has the same bolt setup 'tilting lock bolt and carrier' and the same gas system design
they aren't a sharpshooter of a riffle but not bad and recoil is comparable to the M1
usually they sell 600 to 1000 dependent on calibers and and any 308 or 30 06 will bring a premium price in fair to good condition
there a bit of a collectors item as not a lot made it here and they weren't a large quantity made any way
