So, as you can all see I have photobucket crap all over this site as they now do not allow 3rd party hosting. Anyone out there a place that does that and doesn't charge almost $400 a year? Yep, photo bucket wants more to host those photo's then this site cost in its entire history.

I'd set up a dynamic DNS server in the living room (Hillary-style) before I paid that much! http://freedns.afraid.org/

I can't read most of what you wrote,Tim,because there is a big "disabled" thing over the first half. :(

That popup isn't from photobucket. I right clicked on it and checked off the don't show me this shit again box and it's gone. Russian hackers!

This has me nervous about my TinyPic account, TinyPic was bought by PhotoBucket a while back... I'll be building another server soon, I guess!

By the way, Tim, seems that video hosting is what's hurting most of these PhotoBucket accounts - not still images.

How? I couldn't find anything that said "don't show me this"?

I just right clicked on the photobucket popup, selected "view image info", and there was a check box that said "block images from" and the phony photobucket address and it's all gone. Russian hackers

I've about had it with PB. It runs slower than snot uphill in the middle of winter and I'm tired of all their damn pop ups. I've heard good things about IMGUR. Now all I need to find out is how to transfer all of my PB photos to IMGUR.

There are extensions available now for both Chrome and Firefox to alter the referrer (or some other voodoo) on the fly, making it appear not to be third party hosting on PhotoBucket....IOW, all the images magically reappear.;)
