Hello Battle Tested Friends,

In my Sarco BM59E parts kit, the trigger housing has me baffled. It has the drawing number and a large space, then "R.A.".
At first I thought that it was "W.R.A." and that the "W." was worn off. But the letters are pretty deep, so how would just that once
space get worn all the way through, without anything else getting worn? If there is a "W." there, I cannot see it.

I've read about "R.A." marked op rods and am wondering if Remington made nay trigger housings.

Thanks.....

Ask Punchtheclown, he cares very much about these kinds of things. Me, it's neat to know but I don't make an effort to know.

Looks like a WRA to me. The "." (period) is there for the "W" in W.R.A.
Winchester was known for light stamping. You can see how the stamping for drawing # get
weaker from left to right and the "0" is very light.

Remington did make op rods though.

After looking at the machining marks......it DOES look WRA. Thanks to all for replies and verification
