Since Garand parts arent worth anything anymore thought I might as well assemble a rifle with them.
Some years back CMP sold barreled receivers with bolts,the barrels were NOS 1950's Springfield. This is what I used on this build.
Many parts are NOS Unissued, rest of parts are excellent .
Receiver is Springfield 2088227

NOS USGI Unissued parts:
SA 1952 Post War Barrel
SA Gas Cylinder
SA Gas lock ( has been timed)
Gas Screw
SA Op Rod Catch
SA Follower Rod
Bullet Guide
77 Series National Match Op Rod
SA Clip Latch and Spring
Rear Sight Base


The rest of the parts are used but excellent condition , all gaged well in spec
Fancy Grade Dupage Stock which has been fitted for accuracy, has USGI buttplate and metal

Wow, sometimes pics don't come through for me, but sure glad these did! Especially like that stock- really nice figure in the butt and the handguard almost a burl. Niiice! That one would have to live on the mantle for a while if it were here so I could look at it more.
