It depends on the scope you use, & possibly the brand of rings. A burris 2x7x32 works with medium Warne Maxima QD rings, but not low Warne Maxima QD rings (don't ask me how I figured that out). I'm unsure if there is enough difference twixt one manufacturers "low" & anothers to make it a concern, but it's something to ponder (& another reason to hang on to the receipts). With all that in mind, a 1 inch tube with up to a 32mm diameter objective should work with medium rings.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Haven't yet decided on scope. Burris , Leopoldo, Nikon, vortex has a new one for a lot less money than top three mentioned, was kinda leaning towards warne medium rings, thanks for the reply
The vortex 2-7x32 crossfire indicates a 9.45 inch eye relief. I don't know how the eye relief can be a constant 9.45" in a variable power scope? But there is certainly a lot I don't know. For a variable power 2-7x32, the Burris specs it has the widest range eye relief of any of the IER / scout scopes. The eye relief on the Burris is 9.2 – 12 in. It would be interesting to contact vortex to clarify the full eye relief range on its similar scope. If it matches (even close) to the Burris, I would sure be interested in the vortex also. The Burris is usually $400, and I've seen it only as low as about $340 (should have bought it then but didn't).
