There appears to be some markings missing. I may be wrong but every 1911/A1 I ever handled had a US property marked on it. It may be there but I don't see it. I have seen postings by this gentleman and I would venture to say the reserve is the range of $2000.00 or better. I turned a 1911 down at the last gun show because of the removal of that mark. Of course there were other issues such as it had been blued and he had lowered the price to only $1900.00. I passed as I did not want to insult the man about his pride and joy and he really may not have known.

Well, I hate to say I told you so.......It closed at $1200, RESERVE NOT MET!!!!!!

Reserve not met! I have seen this guys offerings before and his reserve prices rarely get met! I think he does it just to get to us.
