You Too Ryan! So far, greatest day Ever here. I woke up to Bacon, the new Jack Reacher novel from the Grandkids and from my wife an 1892 Winchester takedown- mfg 1896- about 80% WOW! And I thought they didn't care. Soon as I read it I'll pass the book on in one of these mail chains we've got going, and as soon as I (and Sean) learn to post pics I'll show you the rifle.
(the 1892 is on your advice, and thanks. I'm still looking for Punch's 1895. Bought a 94 mfg 1897 30-30 to shoot)

Mine was awesome. Got up at 6am, mowed the lawn, landscaped, got done at 1:30 and ran in out of the 92 degree heat to shower. Wife had a rack of ribs smoking all day and then we ate. My Son's, both of them, called me to wish me a great day which is a big ask for most men ( it would have been for me). In fairness the wife wanted to take me out for dinner but I declined. There were not "Father's Day Specials" or discounts for our "big day" in our area. Now Mother's Day, they pull out all the stops.
