Took my standard M1A to the range today. All USGI TRW parts built on a SAI receiver, only mod is a shimmed gas cylinder. Took some time off this week so I could spend it at the range. Man I sure don't want to go back to work!

I have a standard M1a I built with GI parts on a FA receiver. Same as you, only shimmed the gas cylinder and it shoots just fine. Its more the archer than the arrow anyway.

Some would consider that Hubble-sized scope a “mod”. I bet it help with over 50 eyes though.

Not Hubble sized at all once you take off the sunshade

You get sun up there is Ohio now? I remember only seeing the sun 2-3 times a year and considering myself lucky when I did when I lived there.
