"To prohibit the sale, acquisition, distribution in commerce, or import into the United States of certain firearm receiver castings or blanks, assault weapon parts kits, and machinegun parts kits and the marketing or advertising of such castings or blanks and kits on any medium of electronic communications, to require homemade firearms to have serial numbers, and for other purposes."

Hopefully the Senate would stop this....but who knows at this point.

Ignore crime committed by people of color and stop law abiding citizens from enjoying a benign hobby. Typical filthy democrat tactic. I'm going out on a limb now. I will go as far as to say that this bill targets working class white people as in my observation they are the ones with the interest and the skill sets to participate in the hobby that the filthy democrats would like to destroy.

Listen Eli, When the great state of Texas is banning teaching about the Alamo in public schools, wants to teach the children that Sam Houston, Stephen Austin, Davey Crockett, Jim Bowie et al are racists, and almost elects beto o'rourke, how far behind are you or the rest of the country for that matter? Our beloved country had a 250 year run but it seems to be coming to an end.

In Wisconsin we now have a Dem governor along with all the positions the Gov. appoints which includes state Judges. That for sure is a big downside. The saving graced for now is that Republicans are the majority in the State senate and house.

The Dem Left Socialists did a really good job in selling their agenda even though much of it will never happen. Lots of money came in from the East as well as political agenda from California.

So it looks like were are going to see a whole lot of the left leaning agenda shoved down our throat. Like many other states the large urban area vote is starting to determine winners in Wisconsin state elections.

Read in interesting view that it's not that the border states are being "invaded" by immigrants coming via Mexico but more so that Mexico is moving the Southern U.S. border North.

Used to live in New Mexico and when we moved in the late 1990's there already was a California influence occurring. Same old story---many people leave someplace due to high cost of living, or decline in quality of life and so on. And then when they settle in a bit they commence recreating all the things that made the place they left a shithole.

Kind of a political plague in a way. In any event Ted Cruz had a very flawed opponent...in my opinion...who is truly a rising star with the Dem-Lib crowd..

Greg, Tim and I refer to this as "terraforming". For the life of me I can't understand it. It is akin to being cured from cancer and then missing the disease. Filthy liberals are an amazing animal.

I don't disagree that the 250-year experiment is coming to an end, but things here in Texas aren't anywhere near as bad as you make them out to be!

Here in Wisconsin the Dem-Libs sold the voters on a many things. Some are absolutely bullshit. Other things like universal health care, free college tuition, open borders and amnesty for all are standard Dem talking points everywhere. Whatever--they always fail to say how all that stuff would get paid for as they also always promise to cut taxes.

But here's an example that I listened to and just had to ask WTF?

We got a huge project here going called Foxconn. Yeah crony capitalism on steroids so there is that. It is using UNION contractors. Massive road construction going on using UNION contractors. We are talking most probably thousands of union construction trades working right now and in larger numbers as the project advances.

Our minority and female unemployment is the lowest in history. Signs up everywhere for help wanted.

This project is unbelievable to watch. Drive around it every other day. Amazing stuff.

So UNION contractors paying union scale. $$$$$$$$ The Gov who just got defeated along with the Republican legislature made this deal happen with a whole lot of help with Pres. Trump. The state Dems have vowed to kill the project, or re-negotiate from day one and have tried to throw up any kind of resistance possible.

So....the UNIONS absolutely hate the Gov. along with really hating Trump so they endorse the Dem-Lib candidate who promises to at the very least re-negotiate the project or best case scenario to shut it down. Do you believe that crap...the Unions basically vote support for a guy who wants to end the project they are employed on. WTF

Crazy stuff. At this point I hope they get what they want. Reminds me of the 1980s-1990s when many of the unions truly believed companies would never shut down and outsource jobs. Crazy. Absolutely liberal lunacy.

Is actual construction really taking place or are there just tons of sign saying "Men Working"? Over here we have massive traffic jams because of construction projects. Tons of signs but I'm still looking for the "Men Working".

Greg, spelling correction on your post. "dem-libs" should be spelled "filthy dem-libs". Just trying to help.

Drive around most of the site a couple of times a week. Have to admit the progress is truly amazing. Now, that being said keep in mind I worked for a State agency for ten years and it's quite amazing how wasteful and inefficient things are. Lucky they had a shit ton of casual-sick-stress-holiday-vacation days so I could chase gun parts.

Colorado fell to Bloomberg. It's a complex tale but if you'll pardon the oversimplification Bloomberg effectively bought out the governor's mansion & state house back in '13. Universal registration ("background checks" they called them) & mag capacity restrictions got 2 state senators recalled & a 3rd resigned to keep from being recalled & handing over the senate to the republicans. A special election in '14 saw that state senate seat go repub & the senate with it. But the Colorado GoP makes the national GoP look like bastions of principled action undertaken by folks with spines of titanium. They're more concerned with getting prime seats at the annual banquet than advancing the party platform or winning elections. Bloomberg spent heavily in Colorado every election since '13. Add to that a large increase in foreigners (i.e. Californians) & it would have been a struggle for a competent party to hold their ground. Sadly the Colorado GoP is not a competent party.

So come January they'll push gun confiscation orders ("red flag" or "extreme risk protection", which some GoP'ers were squishy on anyway), possibly an AWB, possibly reducing mag capacity to 10 (it's 15 now) & maybe ramping up the universal registration ("background checks"). I can see them messing with carry permits, but to me having to pay a tax & carry around a permission slip is abhorrent in the first place, so that's just a consequence of treating a Right like it's a privilege.

I saw this coming, so a few months back I moved. Colorado ain't my problem anymore - (it's an artillery problem! :D ) but it's a damn shame as the place was real nice to live in for a while (I was there 17 years).

Yep, elections have consequences, as does having cultural progressives running both parties, as does accepting Rights being treated as privileges. Luckily the consequence of my move is that after 5 years of having to drive out of state, now I can just sit on my couch & order standard capacity mags. For now at least...

There really needs to be a Constitutional Amendment limiting political contributions to actual persons (NO CORPORATE DONATIONS) and restricting donations intrastate. The reach of the parasitic but wealthy 'elite' is reaching far beyond their geography!

Sure you could limit contributions but at this point a big issue is control of the traditional media and ever greater social media. Best I can tell Google/YouTube along with the social media giants are all controlled by left leaning Democrats.

Can't really see how anyone who does not play their brand of politics is going to go anywhere politically.

2020 is going to be very very rough on Conservatives. The way media is going after the current Trump administration it's only a matter of time until the left wins. Considering Trump's past I'd be surprised if we don't see a resignation before 2020. If that happens the Democrats will loot and pillage any and all 2nd amendment rights.

Not giving up but with what I'm seeing 24//365 it's starting to look like we are headed to very left leaning socialist governance.
