Most of the old lottery guns I've seen seem to be unfired after rebuild. I'd be careful on the price though as the recent CMP release of thousands of M1D's can't have helped the market. People have been selling ones from the recent release at a loss. Too much supply and not enough demand. Stu

You have that right Stu. Rilfes are selling alot less or not at all on Gunbroker.
Heres a pic of M1D, supposeably unfired by owner
I'm always broke when something comes around I want to buy. Looks like I'll have to move a few things if I want this one

Did all the accoutrements come with the rifle from the CMP?

Yes Tim, everything comes with it. I'm still on the fence on this one, priced well but still alot of money which I really dont have:)

If you want one, get it-you deserve it. I myself am looking at an original 1942 SA-I deserve it. Around the same price as the "D" but I think it will hold it's value. Stu

Orlando, my question was different sir. Did all the stuff on the rifle come with the rifle directly from the CMP? That is to say, were the accoutrements purchased separately?

Tim, If I recall the pre-slugfest M1D sales came with all the accesories. Unopened demands a premium no doubt but there should be an invoice indicating the accesories. Without that paper the value of the package goes down even further.
