Jon,

You've asked for opinions and here's mine:

Jeff nailed it. The rifle is very nice looking but once you dig deeper there are things about it that just don't add up to the price he's asking. Most of the things I'm going to say are repeats of what the Brute has already said. Items that take away from a premium price: Finish on receiver/barrel is not origianl, no IHC stock, SA parts, and a wrong hammer (it should be C-5546008 IHC). Does it have an IHC gas cylinder? Any IHC internals other than those listed?

For $1500 I would want origianl finish, an IHC stock and ALL IHC parts. In my opinion a more correct price for that rifle is in the neighborhood of $1000 to $1100.

But Jon it's your money and you do as you please!

Thanks Wayne and Jeff. Methinks I'll wait for a better one to show up.
Thanks
Jon

I think its a nice rifle but a bit steep on price for what it is for the reasons posted above. Its a neat shooter, I'd give maybe $1k or so for it.

Just for the record--this is NOT the one I'm currently working on.
