Last year I got a 5.4 SA SG from the CMP. The trigger group was a total mixmaster. The safety has no markings on it at all. Is it possible to tell who's manufacture it is? Any anomolies that differentiate one mfg from another?
Thanks
Jon

Ryan,
Will do--and you the same.
By the way, how're you holding up? Everything ok? How's your dad?

I am not an expert on IDing parts but it was quite common to get unmarked parts as the containers indicated where they came from and as I don't have the packing I would find it hard to ID the maker.

I have had a few of these unmarked safeties through here and they are not at all uncommon.

Were they primarily M14?
