new member hello to all

just taking a moment to introduce myself- MajorD- live in western NY Buffalo area- any others from this neck of the woods?
been using m-1's in one form or another for about 30 years.
currenly only have one in inventory but after seeing the pics of the mini g's here, that will have to change!
I'm a recent military retiree, and enjoying being just a civilian again!
(does make me feel bad when I see guys in my unit deploying for a third or fourth time however)
pretty much if it goes bang I like it- but continue to have a deepening appreciation for the classics.
