Ooohh..shiney.
That turned out really well.
The Dupage stock looks a heck of a lot better than I would have expected. Too bad I missed out on those.
Did you need the -2 bolt to head-space it, or was that just what you had on hand?

Bill, according to My research I would need a -19SA,heat lots 0-17,B-17,A-5,A-7,A-8 would have been used in that time period..I'm sure there are more.;)

Nice rifle Ryan. I take little stock in heat lots anymore. I would put in any 19 and call it a day.

Same here as far as WW2 rifles go. If I can, I'll use a bolt thats on the heat lot charts but if I don't have one handy or can't find one for a resonable price in a reasonable amount of time I'll just use whatever I can (revision correct) without regard to heat lot. Post war SA is easy enough to get but I have'nt "restored" many post war rifles, most of the ones I have were correct/original when I got them.

Humpy
How do you keep track of the parts? I fall into my evil ways and if the part works it goes on. I make a lousy restorer of the M1s. When I am working on one I always say I will go back and put the correct part on but I never do if it is working as is.
