Flash Hiders-The Myth

OK, what is the purpose of a flash hider? To the uninformed (liberals) it is to conceal the location of the shooter. So now you have an imaginary scenario with some nut shooting away and everyone is going "Where is he? Where did that shot come from? I can't see him. He must have a flash hider!". Well I hate to tell them but a flash hider doesn't conceal a shooter-it prevents the shooter from getting night blind, and since most of us aren't involved in night time covert ops a flash hider presents no danger to the general public.
