For those of you who have Duff's blue book, look at rifle number 61 on page 80. Note the s/n. Now, look at my s/n. Coincidence or what??? Is that eerie or what??

[OK, I don't have the book. What's the deal?]

Duff has a list several pages long of apparently original post-war rifles that he was using as references for comparisons. The rifle I am referencing is s/n 4458286. Mine is 4458287. What are the odds?? Maybe it's time to buy my lotto ticket.

Clearly worth the cooling off period. Wow. Are you going to shoot it, or will it be a safe queen?

No toes in the picture. How do we kow it's your rifle? :D

Nice piece but you coulda moved to a free state 3 times in the time it took to get it. :D

When will you be free again?

Mellow,
It will be shot------a LOT. I don't believe in safe queens and shame to any one who owns any. The toys are to be played with. Why own them if you're not going to play with them?? I could never figure that one out.

[coulda moved to a free state 3 times in the time it took to get it. When will you be free again? ]

In about another 7 years +/- when Momma gets her 30 year hand shake from the county. We'll be leaving Kalifornicatia for the free United States of America. I can hardly wait.

Would you know my toes even if you saw them?? You'll just have to take my word for it.

Good man - that's what I wanted to hear. I know of a few guys who will not drive their classic cars except for on and back off of the trailer. I say BS - what is the point? Heck, drive it and even smoke the tires for the crowd!!

Speaking of classic cars--2 months ago I had the priviledge of driving for the Barrett-Jackson auto auction here in sunny So Cal. I saw/drove a lot of those "garage queen" cars. I drove some pretty hot rides and a few classics as well. I was thinking, "Come on-----just give me 100 yards to light this baby up". I'm glad we're on the same page gun-wise.
