Weatherhead Elevation Pinion

Ok, one more question from the tractor newbie. The rear sight windage knob on my IHC is a DRC IHC. The elevation knob is a Weatherhead, but not an IHC Weatherhead. COULD this be correct or do I need to look for an IHC Weatherhead?

Jon,

IHC used two elevation knobs during their production. Early production you see knobs stamped IHC and a W in a hex. Late production you see knobs with only IHC stamped on them. Your rifle (4.45M) should have the IHC with a W in a hex.

Weatherhead knobs marked with only the W in a hex were used on Post WWII SA's and were used as replacement parts. In my opinion, it is not correct for your rifle.
