How The #3!| Do I Access The CMP Forum?

I was largely offline for a couple of weeks, come back and the CMP Forum is changed yet again and my Username & Password don't work. What gives?

i had to reregister. it was a mess for several days.

I reached out to the CMP via Facebook, they gave me the email address of a forum admin, they reset the password. Now I can log in, yay!
I posted on the Facebook group, evidently a lot of people have had issue with registration etc.

yeah, the whole new forum thing over there is a complete disaster. I'm glad I'm not active on there much any more. They use the same system as Battle Tested, but CMP hasn't cleaned it up enough to make it user friendly

I managed to log in, and reset/update my password... and it doesn't work again! Ugh! It doesn't even tell you that you aren't logged in, either - their system is FUBAR!

My CMP Forum login works after the changeover hiatus, however most of my retained forum messages were lost, on which I commented there (saw your input as well, Sean). What with this fubar format makeover and the pitted to hell Garands for sale at ever increasing prices, I only access the site now out of idle curiosity. BTW, a new dude there (MilSurprocks, 3 posts) is asking what a nice BM59 kit is worth now. I'm interested myself, as I may decide to offload mine. Any opinions? TIA!

I haven't been able to log in and view recent posts like I used to.

I might be interested in a BM59 kit in a few months, working on some deals - I work real estate and have commercial deals pending.

This is as provided by Zvenoman on that site, seems to eliminate a lot of the glitches associated with the new software (though most of my previously saved messages are still missing). Looks like the changeover brouhaha took out the Director, Mark Johnson, who was far less popular during his reign than the previous Director, Orest Michaels. I had the feeling that Johnson saw his duty as to maximize income to the CMP at expense of customer satisfaction. JMO, whatever. Let's just say the glory days are over unless one is happy with pitted makeovers priced in four digits. Was fun while it lasted, though.
