As best I can recall, the one I was looking at on GB was an early version. It had seen some use, but not very much.
I wanted it bad, but didn't have the $3K+ it was going to take to get it at that time.
Heres a pic, still havent decided .

Can I borrow it if you get it?
BadASS!
I know nothing about them, But it looks like a great find.
That is a nice looking set-up. Too bad my year end bonus check is already spoken for....
I have one and I LOVE it. I reenact with it all the time. I paid $3750 for mine with one mag (used) I bought mags from Ohio Ordnance for $15 each. They eat just about any type of ammo. I shoot swanson blanks and HXP through it. If it has a ww2 barrel on it BUY IT. what does he want for it???

USGI barrel marked NE 1944 , 7- 20 round mags , extra Bakelite stock ,cleaning kit , 6 pocket belt marked Colt 1918. Seller wants $3850.00 but I'm more comfortable around $3500.00 .
The serial is different than most I have seen ,its 081A3
Well look at it this way:
A ww2 BAR barrel: $300-$400 alone The gun is $4000 brand new ALL repro parts even barrel. This one will most likely have USGI parts. That extra stock is at least $100 to $200, the mags are another $140, and the belt is a WW1 belt, that has been updated and used during WW2, Prolly about $75 to $100. So its at least $4500 worth of stuff. If I didnt already have one, I'd buy it no questions asked without haggling on the price. BUT thats just my .02
