Wow, now thats a nice picture! Stamping looks good, I'd say you did ok. You got a nicely restored WW2 SA and the other party got his WRA project he wanted. Seems like a good deal both ways. I've been in similar situations as the guy you traded with. Every once in awhile I'd find myself with a collection of parts correct for something that I had'nt planned on doing, yet the opportunity would present itself and the only logical choice was to go for it.

Well Danny I think you got the better deal. But I am bias toward Springfields myself, I'm not much of a Winchester fan either. I just listed mine on Jouster theres a guy on there who has one 25 rifles after mine. Wonder if he'll call. :)

Dave those were my feelings exactly. He said I had bragging rights to say a was dealing with an idiot, but I told him, if I were in the same situation as him, I'd trade for what I needed.
