Garands, Whats on the end of your barrel?

Guys and maybe Gals,,How about that photo of whats attached to the barrel of your rifle??I am know there are grenade launchers, t 37 flashhiders, the cones flash hiders..even read of a Vortex adapter? I am now going to do a little research of my own on what, i can attach to the m-1 garand barrel..I am planning on using the cylinder lock for the prototype..I do not want to increase the back pressure, or by design, blow off the treads on the barrel that hold the cylinder lock in place. Any takers, It might be interesting..I have ordered a Vortex, which is threaded for the AR...

I start by saying none for me. This rifle is heavy and way to long to begin with. I'll take a 16" lightweight Mini-G with a heavy fluted buttstock for hunting here in wisconsin.

Okay, I see that okay..If I used it for Hunting, i would not want to add much weight either..Mostly keep the butt-stock nearly empty too..I remember just how heavy it was when I carried it at 19 yro in Guard.I still want to adjust the noise and flame from the barrel...Sarco has some of the t37 units for $35, was curious if anyone has bought theirs? I did see where someone is shortening the prongs, looks like a tuning fork anyway..wondered about it vibrating...I don't shoot match so this mostly research on it..I ordered some new parts to try...Don't want anything permanent and will save my original parts too..Thanks..OG.

For $35 Sarcos are reproductions
I never noticed any "flames" when shooting a Garand but I never fired at night. Doubt it will have any affect on noise

Yes I have three myself..Two with the steel hilt and one of the later type, sorry but the numbers escape me.

Hi Orlando, I've read quite a bit of your notes...I know from the forums that you have a healthy stock of hardware..Lets talk about night fire...yes, there is a long hot flame from the 3006 and 762x51..I'm in the woods so I get to try out several weapons myself... I know I am not alone in this type thinking..I have taken three of my semis out hog-hunting, although I do not find much to hunt, as I wait in a tree....I started this thread kindly as entertainment, with a possibility of education....never know when we might need to use one of our 'units" for home defense...You know most short rifles have a muzzel tamer of some type...I do know I do not want another Ak74 type on my rifles.....
