Went shopping for a Caspian frame to finish off a Colt Commander I have all the parts for,Well I found the frame,but sitting on the corner of his table were a number of 1911A1s. All were priced at a thousand or better except one. I picked it up and noted the finish was not at its finest.It was in serious need of cleaning. A closer look showed it to be a 1930 C XXXX marked Colt made for Argentina all parts matched so with sneer I asked what the price was for this worthless Item. Needless to say I walked out of the show before the victory dance. He sold me the gun for less than he was asking for the Caspian frame. Bottom line though I still need a frame!
