Tim,
What happens as the park solution is used over and over again - will the color change or does it take longer to achieve the same results as when it was fresh, etc?

"Are you my pal, Danny?"
I see a darker shade as usage goes on. Really the best colors come. It does not take any longer, at least noticeably longer.
Does it wear out?
"Are you my pal, Danny?"
Yes, after a long long long time. Refreshening it easy though.
I really would like to send you my HRA for some lovin' but I don't want it to be jet black. What do you suggest; old zinc park solution or new manganese solution?
"Are you my pal, Danny?"
Don't know, HRA's should be pretty dark. It won't be jet black but it will be dark.
Mello, I had 4 rifles parked by Tim. One in ZInc, so we wont include that one. My FAL is in manganese and is dark gray. My 1943 SA is black but not jet black-sort of a very dark gray. My 9/44 is black. Out of them all the most attractive is the '43 SA in my eyes. I was there when he parked it as well as my FAL. Anyway, 2 rifles, same solution, same time and temp and 2 different colors.

When dealing with liberals, always attribute to malice what would ordinarily be attributed to incompetence.
