What a mess!!!
I never had much interest in foreign rifles , i did fill the gaps such as a few of the common ones. I recently run into a few that were stored poorly . What do you guys think? the rust is pretty heavy but will clean up some. Thanks for any info about the rifles.Tom

I think Hakim and Rashid rifles are interesting, but I intentionally avoid that stuff nowadays!

I avoided any thing other than US for 20 years . The price was right though. I have no intentions chasing ammo for these things . The rust is a shame , they are full of sand also .

I hear they make great small boat anchors.

I bought some old rimfire rifles with almost that much rust. With some oil and brass wool, they no longer have rust. The finish is gone in the worst spots but for shooters they are fine.
With Rashids and Hakim's, they are uncommon enough that condition issues that don't effect function don't kill the value as much as a more common gun.
I would clean them up before I called them junk.
Also a refinish or refinish and part out might be money makers.

Those will clean up! I would love to have them! They are neat rifles. I currently have two Hakims that I shoot.
