Been cool here, highs in the low 60s, lows in the 40s. I realize that for this time of year such would be bikini weather in Ohio. Big local news is the rain starting tomorrow, three inches in three days predicted. Been a rather dry la Nina season so far, some good rains but separated by weeks of dry. First bearing of avocados still on the tree, but growing slowly, was sweating out a freeze a couple of weeks ago, but air temp stayed in the upper thirties, though for a couple for days there was an ice plug in the garden hose laying on the ground, both times messed up a plastic spray head when it hit the end of the line. Hops showing new growth, really hardy plants, but I don't brew beer anymore. Wishing an early Spring for all, despite Phil's forecast.
